Squarespace hosting: Squarespace states it stores customer data in Tier III data centers across the United States, and serves images and static assets via geographically distributed content delivery networks (CDNs).
Newsletter platform: We use Mailchimp for our newsletter. Mailchimp states its owned and operated servers are located in the United States, and data may also be processed by vendors in other international locations.
Payments: Payments on Squarespace commonly use integrated processors such as Stripe. Stripe’s data processing terms describe cross-border transfers and note personal data may be transferred to the United States and other jurisdictions as needed to provide services.
