Italy and South Australia Discovering Space Together

The South Australian chapter of ALTO held it's first major event since its official launch on Thursday 25 July 2019, held at PKF Adelaide.

The event discussed the space industry and the importance this industry has in developing new technologies that improve society and foster international colloboration.

Guests were greeted by the Speaker of the House the Hon Vincent Tarzia MP representing the Premier and the leader of the Opposition Mr Peter Malinauskas MP. Other guests included the Italian Consul Mrs Roberta Ronzitti and the Italian Chamber of Commerce Sydney CEO Mrs Rachele Grassi. 

The panel was chaired by Mr Mike Davis AO (former Chair of the Australian Space Industry Association and pioneer in pushing South Australian space sector), Prof Nicola Sasanelli (Director of the SA Space Industry Centre), Mr Mark Ramsey (General Manager of SITAEL Australia) and Ms Rachele Grassi (CEO of the Chamber of Commerce).
