Adrian is an accountant for PKF Melbourne’s Business Recovery & Insolvency team and currently serves as the treasurer of ALTO. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Monash University and a Master of Professional Accounting from Swinburne University. Having been an active member of the Monash University Italian Club and the President of Swinburne University Italian Club during his tertiary studies, the natural progression for Adrian was to join the ALTO committee. He currently works on both corporate assignments including liquidations of all types, voluntary administrations, receiverships across a range of industries, and also personal matters, being bankruptcy and Part X. He was also one of the founders of the Victorian Italian-Australian Tertiary Association (VITA), the coordinating group of all the Italian university associations in Victoria. Adrian strongly believes that ALTO helps to unite the Italian community in Melbourne, creating valuable networking opportunities in the process.
Amanda has worked in the Financial Advice industry for over 10 years. Currently, she is the Partnership Paraplanning Coach within the BT Financial Group. Amanda's responsibilities are to provide support and coaching to paraplanners, business managers, assistants and advisers within BT Partnerships and the wider advice team. Her previous roles within the industry have been in Advice Review, Paraplanning Operations Management and Paraplanning. Amanda has a Bachelor of Commence, majoring in Finance, Marketing and Commercial Law from Deakin University and an Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning.
Anthony Villella recently joined the ALTO committee. Anthony is an Enterprise Account Manager for Oracle Australia and managers a portfolio of major clients across Australia and New Zealand. He has a Bachelor in Business (Majoring in Economics and Finance) and has recently completed a Masters in Commerce (International Business). Outside of work he enjoys travelling and spending time with family and friends, while being a lifelong supporter of AC Milan and Carlton Football Club.
Based at Colliers International's Melbourne North West office, focusing on the northern industrial market, Corey is a licenced estate agent and has completed a Bachelor in Business Management.
Having been surrounded by real estate his whole life, Corey has worked his way up through various roles which has provided him with a wealth of experience and a great understanding of all areas of property and an intimate knowledge of Melbourne’s property market. He displays excellent leadership skills and loves working in a team environment.
Corey commenced his real estate career in property management, covering various roles in his 9 years within his initial organisation. Ranging from portfolio management, business development management, where Corey played an integral part in the company’s growth, working on high volume listing and leasing on a number of prime CBD and fringe developments. Later moving into the role of department team leader, working alongside the department manager to oversee 15 staff across four offices.
David’s current role is Partnership Executive for the Strategic Partnerships and Alliances team at Bank of Melbourne. David manages corporate partners, large associations, employer groups and individuals, facilitating relationships between them and different banking segments such as the Premium Bank, Migrant Banking, Business Banking and Property Banking. He is a financial services professional with extensive experience across a number of sectors including Commercial Lending, Investment Products and Superannuation. David joined the ALTO Committee in July 2017 with a focus on bringing together talented Italian-Australian Professionals, Business and Community Leaders and supporting them in building solid, sustainable relationships.
John R Persico is the CEO of the Vumero Group, a global portfolio of companies dedicated to education and online recruitment in the world of Finance, Technology and Sports. Vumero Group delivers a wide-range of global training, certifications, events and real-time online hiring solutions to help fast-growth markets avoid skills gaps and skills shortages for over 100,000 people -- such as Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, Financial Modeling, Cybersecurity and Internet of Things (IoT). John's passion is the future of workforces. John previously worked in investment banking, management consulting and private equity. He has a commerce/law degree and masters in supply chain management. John was founding president of ALTO from 2013-2016.
Luisa is a property development lawyer at Maddocks, and has experience advising clients in both residential, retail and industrial sectors. Having worked in the industry for 5 year, Luisa's clients range from institutional companies to boutique developers, and she provides advice on broad aspects of property and development law. She holds a Juris Doctor in Law and Bachelor of Arts from the University of Melbourne. Luisa is a committee member of the Maddocks Women Committee and is a mentor for students at Melbourne Law School.
Luisa joined ALTO in 2018 and is excited to enhance the young Australian-Italian professional network. She is passionate about mentoring students and young professionals into the workplace, as well as advocating for increased female participation in the industry.
Matt is a corporate and commercial lawyer at Thomson Geer, with a particular focus on mergers and acquisitions as well as capital markets. Matt holds a Bachelor of Laws / Bachelor of Arts from Monash University. Matt has been one of the founding board members of ALTO since its 2013 launch, and has a vision to help establish a strong and active network of young Italian-Australian professionals.
Sabrina recently joined the ALTO committee after three exciting years at the Melbourne University Italian Social Club. She is an associate in Grant Thornton’s Restructuring Advisory team, and graduated from Melbourne University with a Bachelor of Commerce. On the weekend, when not studying for her CA, Sabrina can be found in the sunshine, managing her local outdoor pool.
Sabrina is focused on bridging the gap between university students and ALTO, and looks forward to increasing the representation of young professional ALTO members. Through co-founding VITA (Victorian Italian-Australian Tertiary Association) in late 2017, she’s committed to helping establish a strong network for all young italian-australians.
