Christian is an Exercise Physiologist with an interest in cardiac exercise physiology. In 2015, he began his PhD in Medicine within the Centre for Heart Rhythm Disorders at the University of Adelaide assessing the role of exercise in patients with Atrial Fibrillation. Now a Cardiac Exercise Physiologist within the Centre of Heart Rhythm Disorders at the Cardiovascular Centre in Norwood, he continues to publish research and practice clinically, as well as teaching exercise physiology and advanced exercise science at the University of Adelaide.
Christian is extensively involved within the non-for-profit community sector and is President of Com.It.Es South Australia - an elected representative body under the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs representing the Italian citizens of South Australia. He is also a board member at the South Australian Italian Association Inc. Christian is a referee on the South Australian National Premier League having just achieved more than 100-senior fixtures in the NPL and was formerly on the Hyundai-A-League as a match official.
